Pat Alvin Allen, 65, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 4:39 A.M. Thursday, February 16, 2017, at his residence.

He was born on June 25, 1951 in Newberry, Michigan, the son of Alvin and Marian (Griffith) Allen. On December 20, 1973 in Traverse City, Michigan, he married Pamela Olsen and she survives.

Mr. Allen had worked in the timber industry for many years and worked in construction. He had also worked as a heavy equipment mechanic. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Allen, Rochester, Indiana, children, Tim and wife Michelle Baynton, Newberry, Michigan, Shawn and wife  Susan Allen, Tyner, Indiana, Melissa and husband Brad Reynolds, Rochester, Indiana, Jason and wife Stephine Allen, Plymouth, Indiana, Shannon and husband Chris Williams, Plymouth, Indiana, thirteen grandchildren, brother, Russ Allen, Rochester, Indiana, and sister, Bonnie Lee, Culver, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Francis Griffin, George Allen, and Rex Allen, sisters, Anna May Cole, Roseman Swan, Georgia Ash, Barbara McAlpine, and Grace Cole.
