Certainly one of a kind. The conversations around her dining room table for the "Birthday Gals" will always be treasured along with my counted cross stitch hoops that she made. My son will always remember Maralyn's growl whenever he answered her phone calls and neither one remembered how it started. She was also the biggest heart in Newcomers. She will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Maralyn was one of the kindest, most caring persons I have ever known. She went above a beyond to help others.

To all the Booher family,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She and I worked at AP&S Clinic together and were "smoking" buddies (lol), I loved your mother and am glad she is able to rest now. She loved her children and just wanted to be close to all of you. God loved her more than any of us. She was a beautiful and giving person.

We shall all miss our generous fun loving friend whose home and heart were always open . We appreciated her kindness and willremember the great events she shared in her home with lots of laughter and of course--the food so popular with Newcomers. Maralyn was artistic and generous. She gave much of her talent to the success of the Terre Haute Newcomers club. As a matter of fact, the first gift I received as an officer of Newcomers was a lovely cross stitch item which she had made. She had a very extensive collection of magnets from all over the world, attached to her refrigerator, and when I was traveling overseas, I would bring back magnets for her collection. I miss her very much.

Maralyn will be remembered as a feisty gal who worked her fingers to the bone for the Terre Haute Newcomers. She was a very special friend as we shared lots of memories of our lives, children, grandchildren. She will be thought of always. Blessings on her and her family at this time.
