So very sorry for the loss of Jacquie. I only knew her from FB/CYL. It seems as if I've known her forever. I became friends with her through CYL. We talked a lot on there and through messenger. She will be greatly missed.

Message from Beverly Bailey (Jean 's best friend daughter)
December 11, 2016 11:25 PM

Jackie was good friend of my mother Jean Bailey who work together as a private nurse
in California before she moved back home to be with her mother and father. She was such a wonderful lady would do any thing for us, My mom always called her on her birthday and Christmas time, they would talked for hours. I am so sorry for your lost, I would thought she would live a long time with her love Animals. She got Molly , what a cute dog and she has I think one cat. She wrote me a short note, telling me how much she love Molly. I will missed her daily news. She has gone home to Heaven to be with her mother and father and her animals. May my prayers are with you all > Love Beverly Bailey

I really miss jacquie! We have gotten to be good friends through our book clubs. When she started going with friend Pat and me to Culver movie/book club, our trips sure got more exciting!! Jacquie loved back roads, especially gravel ones and she took us on many (some going in directions other than toward home)!! I also got her daily thoughts and often had several back and forth emails concerning them in a day. She was a good writer; I was looking forward to her finishing her Cranberry Bog chapters and turning them into a book. She loved her aunt and family--we heard her say so many times. We all miss jacquie, but have many precious memories.

Jacquie has been a close friend to me for over 30 years and the news of her passing was not something I was ready to accept. We went to art classes together, spent many a New Year's Eve playing video marathons, and had loads of hour long phone calls. It doesn't seem possible that she's no longer here. I miss her greatly!

What a shock and sorrow this was. Jacquie was such a vibrant (and often hilarius) part of the writing group. Our voice is made quieter and less joyful with her passing. I'm so glad to have gotten to know her.

Many of us CYL's never met Jacquie in person but we loved having her share her funny, articulate and heartwarming blog with us each day. Her legacy will live on through her beloved Molly Beth. Jacquie, you are missed and will not be forgotten.

Jacquie was so special. Her 'Thoughts' reached out to so many with special quotes, a cartoon, wonderful pictures and her comments for the day. I so miss those. She never failed to send a personalized Jackie Lawson card on holidays, birthdays and days to send her love. She loved to read and we shared many a conversation on books we liked. Her love of animals was her passion and she felt so strongly about rescued ones. Newest member, Molly Beth, was with her when she passed and stayed by her side. All members of a Facebook group, Crazy Yorkie Ladies, enjoyed her daily blog about Molly Beth's learning her new home and new 'Mommie' to the delight of us all. Jacquie was a loving, giving soul and will be sorely missed by many. I am deeply saddened to lose my friend; it was an honor to know and love her. Thirteen years of knowing her was not nearly long enough.

I never met her personally but her daily posts on the Crazy Yorky Ladies website helped to make my morning complete. You could tell she was intelligent and well read. Her love for Molly Beth and the cats was legendary. Her death hit the CYL group hard as she was loved by all. Rest in peace my friend and know the animals are all taken care of.
