Wilma Lisa See 86, Rochester, Indiana passed away at 5:08 A.M. Thursday, June 4, 2026 at her residence.
She was born on March 3, 1940 in Rochester, Indiana the daughter of Robert and Opal (Kercher) Hill. On June 12, 1960 at the Akron Church of God, she married James “Jim” E. See and he survives.
Lisa had worked at the Chester White Office after high school and had been a rural mail carrier for the United States Post Office for thirty -six years. She also provided child care throughout the years for her grandchildren. She had been a member of the Rochester Church of God and Eagles Auxiliary. An avid piano and organ player, she enjoyed playing the organ for her church and teaching piano lessons to her grandchildren. She had also played the trumpet while in High School.
Survivors include her husband, James “Jim” See, Rochester, Indiana, children, Pamela Preziuso, Fishers, Indiana, Julie See, Marion, Indiana, Jeffrey See, Plant City, Florida John See, Minneapolis, Minnesota, daughter-in-law, Kris See, Hudson, Wisconsin, grandchildren, Andrea (Bryce Miller) Taylor, Fishers, Indiana, Kurt Leitherer, Noblesville, Indiana, William (Ashley) Leitherer, Fishers, Indiana, Sarah (Nic Silva) Leitherer, Noblesville, Indiana, Ruby See, Hudson, Wisconsin, Breck See, Hudson, Wisconsin, great grandchildren, Isabella Leitherer, Fishers, Indiana, Sophia Taylor, Fishers, Indiana, Grayson Silva, Noblesville, Indiana, siblings, DeVerl Hill, Scottsdale, Arizona, Bonnie Prior, South Padre Island, Texas, Patricia Wright, Peru, Indiana, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Monday, June 8, 2026 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children,705 Riley Hospital Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46202.
