Wilma R. Tilson

Wilma R. Tilson 100, Logansport, Indiana, and formerly of Rochester, Indiana and Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away at 6:17 P.M. Friday, September 30, 2022, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Logansport.

She was born on October 14, 1921 in Marion County, Indiana, the daughter of Allen and Beatrice (Kidd) Smith.

Wilma had been a housewife and had worked for Indiana Bell and the National Bank both of Greenwood, Indiana. She along with her late husband owned a grocery store in Rocklane for many years. She had attended the First Baptist Church and Riverview Community Churches in Rochester, Indiana and the Rockland Christian Church in Rocklane.

Survivors include her children, Eva Richards, Jasper, Indiana, Kathleen (William) Ward, Ludington, Michigan, Gene Tilson, Greenwood, Indiana, ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and nineteen great -great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Tilson, two brothers, one sister and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Rocklane Cemetery, Greenwood, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to donor’s favorite charity.
