William W. Conover

William W. Conover 91, Argos, Indiana, passed away at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 18, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on September 15, 1931 in East Chicago, Indiana, the son of Lee and Anna (James) Conover. On November 8, 1985 in Fulton County, Indiana, he married Celesta Yvonne (Jones) Wolfe and she survives.

Mr. Conover had worked as a mail carrier, warehouse manager, Family Fair Supermarket and retired from working as a security guard from Indiana Heat Transfer in Plymouth, Indiana. He had been a member of Grace Baptist Church, Plymouth, Indiana and enjoyed cutting trees, selling wood, and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Celesta Yvonne Conover, Argos, Indiana, children, Bill (Debbie) Conover, Hammond, Indiana, Chuck (Wilma) Conover, Springfield, Missouri, Sue (Wayne) Bloch, Lowell, Indiana, Tim (Tammy) Conover, Lowell, Indiana, Joanie (Ron) Waitekus, Cape Coral, Florida, thirteen grandchildren, twenty -four great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Deloris (Hunter) Conover, parents, daughter, Sandy Leininger and five brothers.

Private services will be observed with burial in Richland Center Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the William W. Conover Memorial Fund.
