Victor E. Hill

HILL, VICTOR E.

 Passed in peace on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at the age of 86 in Rialto, California.  He was born in Fulton County, Indiana, to Donald and Juanita Hill on June 18, 1933. He spent much of his youth on the farm in northern Indiana then moved to Illinois, California, Michigan, then back to California.Trained as a draftsman for the aerospace industry, Victor eventually migrated to retail where he owned and operated several retail businesses in Michigan, California and Nevada.

 He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Judith (Dunning) Hill of 43 years.  Victor is also survived by his children: Debra (Matthew) Schroeder of Jackson, Michigan; Cathy (George) Spencer of Olympia, Washington; Shelly (Jim) Meneely of Anaheim, California; Kelly (Michael) Baumstark of Palm Springs, California; Elizabeth (Joe) Foster of Rialto, California and Jim (Tabitha) Dresser of Bellville, Ohio.  He was a proud grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

Victor will be remembered by his family and friends as a man who enjoyed photography, traveling and his dog, Lucky. Victor will be greatly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and Lucky.

Friends and family are invited to the memorial service at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 3, 2020, at Zimmerman  Bros. Funeral Home in Rochester, Indiana.Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Grass Creek Cemetery immediately following the service.
