Vicki Carol Loebig

Vicki Carol Loebig 69, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 7:12 P.M. Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Hickory Creek of Rochester.

She was born on April 22, 1953 in Rochester, Indiana the daughter of Omer and Peggy (Strominger) Torrence. On June 27, 1986 in Rochester, Indiana, she married Robert J. “Bob” Loebig and he survives.

Carol had worked as a Court Bailiff in Fulton County Superior Court for Judge Burke, before being elected Fulton County Assessor in 2006. She also worked for First Federals Savings Bank from where she retired. An avid golfer, she was a member of the Elk’s Lodge and Women’s Golf League. When not out golfing, her biggest passion in life was caring for her husband and family.

Survivors include her husband, Robert J. “Bob” Loebig, Rochester, Indiana, children, Christy Perdue, Rochester, Indiana, David M. (Jordan) Perdue, Rochester, Indiana, step-children, Kim (Norm) Benzing, Rochester, Indiana, Robert Loebig II, Lewisville, Texas, grandchildren, Evan Michael Perdue, Rochester, Indiana, Ethan Jay Perdue, Rochester, Indiana, Madison Arcuri, Lafayette, Indiana, Brogan, Joey “JoJo” and Jude Loebig, all of Lewisville, Texas, brother, Nick Torrence, Costa Rica, sister-in-law, Pam Loebig, Rochester, Indiana, great nieces, Kylee and Baylee. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers-in-laws, Jim Loebig and Jerry Loebig.

Friends may visit from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Interment will be at a later date at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
