Theodore Nurmi Obituary
Theodore M. Nurmi 80, Gary, Indiana, passed away at 12:35 P.M. Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Methodist Hospital, Merrillville, Indiana.
He was born on August 9, 1942 in Brattleboro, Vermont, the son of Olavi Maurits and Beverly Helen (Berry) Nurmi. He had worked most of his life as a truck driver.
Survivors include his son, Pavo Kent, North Judson, Indiana and grandson, Dylan Paavo Kent, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.
