Steven Lee Coplen

Steven Lee Coplen 64, Pierceton, Indiana, passed away at 9:20 P.M. Monday, December 5, 2022, at his residence.

He was born on July 22, 1958 in Rochester, Indiana, the son of Harold A. Coplen and Donna Jo (King) Coplen Romig. He was a 1976 graduate of Rochester High School.

Steven was Assistant Plant Manager for J.C. Manufacturing in North Webster, Indiana.  He was an avid Indiana University Basketball Fan, enjoyed watching college sports, fishing, playing the lottery scratch off tickets, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his daughter, Cary Cay Pierce, Rochester, Indiana, grandchildren, Alyssa Morgan Pierce, Mooresville, Indiana, Daren Lee Pierce, Terre Haute, Indiana, sister, Serita (Rusty) Markley, Rochester, Indiana, brothers, Robert Coplen, Pierceton, Indiana, Timothy Coplen, Rochester, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Tyler Jordan Pierce, and step-brother, Michael Allen Coplen.

Friends may visit from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Burial will be at a later date at Mentone Cemetery, Mentone, Indiana. Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanbrosfh.com
