Rodney K. Hamilton

Rodney K. Hamilton 69, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 10:00 P.M. Tuesday May 22, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born on May 21, 1949 in Kokomo, Indiana, the son of Samuel E. and Marjoie (Binney) Hamilton. He was a 1976 graduate of Kokomo High School. On April 10, 1970 in Kokomo, Indiana, he married Rene’ Richardson and she survives.

Mr. Hamilton retired as office manager from N.T.A. of Nappanee, Indiana in 2012.  He was a member of Mill Creek Missionary Church, Rochester and was an avid Indiana University fan and also enjoyed following the University of Notre Dame and the Chicago Bears.

Survivors include his wife, Rene’ Hamilton, Rochester, Indiana, children, Melisa D. Hamilton, Rochester, Indiana, Gregory S. Hamilton, Rochester, Indiana, Tammy Gonzalez, Texas, grandchildren, Andrea Hamilton and fiancé Seth Kauffman, Arin Johnson, Noah Hamilton, Tanner Hamilton, Mason Hamilton, all of Rochester, Indiana, great grandchildren, Keaghan and Emersyn, both of Rochester, Indiana, sister, Vicky and husband Nick Titus, Kokomo, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Alexis Hamilton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday May 26, 2018 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana, with Rev. Chris Beall officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana.
