Richard "Rick" D. Hurtt

Richard D. Hurtt 62, Kewanna, Indiana, passed away at 4:40 P.M. Wednesday February 2, 2022, at Life Care Center of Rochester.

He was born on November 5, 1959 in Harvey, Illinois, the son of Richard and Joann (Sanborn) Hurtt.

Mr. Hurtt had worked as a self- employed painter. known as Rick the Painter.

Survivors include his mother, JoAnn (Phil) Einsele of Florida, daughter, Hailey Hurtt, Kokomo, Indiana, step-son, Justin Chmielewski, Kewanna, Indiana, sisters, Diane Clanton, Maine, Melissa (Jason) Morgan, Dyer, Indiana, brother, Anthony (Mary) Hurtt, Crown Point, Indiana,step-mother, Marcia Hurtt, Highland, Indiana,several nieces and nephews, and best friend Ace Bonnell. He was preceded in death by his father and daughter, Angela Hurtt McCarty.
