Raymond J. Zartman

Raymond J. Zartman 90, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 11:57 A.M. Monday March 9, 2020, at his residence.

He was born on January 30, 1930, in Fulton, Indiana, the son of Voris D. and Edna M. (Surface) Zartman. On April 13, 1951, in Kewanna, Indiana, he married Marjorie Denton and she survives.

Early in his life, Raymond worked for the Studebaker Corporation in South Bend, Indiana, McMahan-O’Connor Construction and Wilson’s Foods in Logansport, Indiana. He retired from the United States Post Office, Kewanna Branch and was a life- long farmer. He was a member of the Fulton United Methodist Church and the Fulton Masonic Lodge #665. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Zartman, Rochester, Indiana, children, Gary and wife Debra Zartman, Rochester, Indiana, John and wife Lori Zartman, Palm City, Florida, Lisa Zartman Paul and husband Tony, Twelve Mile, Indiana, grandchildren, Megan (Chris) Henry, Annandale, Virginia, Larry Andrew (Stacie) Zartman, Greenfield, Indiana, Molly (Blake) Hardesty, Rochester, Indiana, Alexander Charles (Stephanie) Zartman, Gosport, Indiana, Crystal (Jason) Neels, North Carolina, A.J. (Claudia) Zartman, California, Genna Zartman and companion Pete Hall, Florida, Cory (Vivian) Zartman, Florida, Raymond  (Rachel) DePew, Tucson, Arizona, Sybil Paul, Twelve Mile, Indiana, Alivia Paul, Twelve Mile, Indiana, several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jann Marie Zartman, son, Larry Alan Zartman, and sister, Lorene Billman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday March 13, 2020 at the Fulton United Methodist Church, Fulton, Indiana. Friends may visit at the church on Friday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Fulton Cemetery, Fulton, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity. Arrangements by Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home.
