Philip Eugene Snook 81, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 3:58 P.M. Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne.
He was born on December 4, 1943 in New Berlin, Pennsylvania, the son of Ellsworth and Cora (Pentz) Snook. On June 19, 2016 in New Hampshire, he married Norine (Keller) Dodge and she survives.
Phil had worked and retired from Moore Business Forms in Rochester and later worked as a guard at the Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, Indiana. He had also been a clock repairman for many years. Phil had been a member of the Eagles Lodge, American Legion, and Masons. In his leisure time, he enjoyed repairing clocks, motorcylces, spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Penn State University fan.
Survivors include his wife, Norine Snook, Rochester, Indiana, children, Scott Snook, Florida, Terry (Angie) Snook, Ontario, Ohio, Philip Lee Snook, Indiana, step-children, Chris Dodge, Rochester, Indiana, Bob Dodge, Culver, Indiana, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Bruce Lake Cemetery, Kewanna, Indiana. Arrangements by Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanbrosfh.com
