Patsy L. Brown

Patsy L. Brown 86, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 3:02 A.M. Thursday, December 1, 2022, at her residence.

She was born on May 27, 1936 in Normal, Illinois the daughter of Raymond J. Gayhart and Beulah B. (Arbogast) Gayhart Pace. On September 9, 1956 in Peru, Indiana, she married Bill E. Brown and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2016.

Mrs. Brown had previously worked at Delco-Remy and Howard Community Hospita,l both of Kokomo, Indiana and had been a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, painting, cross stitching, flowers, gardening and canning.

Survivors include her children, Kathy Smith, Rochester, Indiana, Bill (Brenda) Brown, Sharpsville, Indiana, Sharon (Joe) Rock, Rochester, Indiana, six grandchildren, Christina (Ian) Davis, Rochester, Indiana, Richard (Kathy) Lucker, Rochester, Indiana, Michael (Melody) Brown, Sharpsville, Indiana, Amanda (Josh) Philapy, Sharpsville, Indiana, Casie (Neil) Baumann, Rochester, Indiana, Joey (Alivia) Rock, Rochester, Indiana, and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Saturday and one hour prior to service Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
