He was born on January 25, 1960 in Rochester, Indiana, the son of Russell A. Davidson Sr. and Janet S. (Reed) Davidson.

Michael had worked in construction and enjoyed baseball, especially following the Chicago White Sox.

Survivors include his children, Kelsey Davidson, Rochester, Indiana, Kyle Davidson, Indiana, Summer Davidson, Silver Lake, Indiana, Dustin Davidson, Florida, several grandchildren, father, Russell A. Davidson Sr., Rochester, Indiana, mother, Janet S. Davidson, Rochester, Indiana, brother, Russell Davidson Jr., Macy (Nyona Lake), Indiana, sister, Jolinda (Jason) Anderson, Macy (Nyona Lake), Indiana. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
