Melissa Lynn Ousley-Belpedio

Melissa Lynn Ousley-Belpedio 50, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 7:29 P.M. Friday, October 13, 2023 at her residence.

She was born on November 23, 1972 in Peru, Indiana, the daughter of Ron and Pam (Pruitt) Bechdolt. On August 2, 2003 she married Rick Belpedio and he survives.

Melissa graduated from Western Governors University with a degree in Education and had been an elementary school teacher at Columbia Elementary in Rochester. She attended the Mill Creek Missionary Church and  enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Rick Belpedio, Rochester, Indiana, children Amanda (Fiance’ William Smith) Ousley, Macy, Indiana, Ashley (Fiance’ Eric Thomas) Oulsey, Savannah, Georgia, Blake (Amanda) Belpedio, Oxford, Indiana, grandchildren, Mathis Ousley and Thea Smith, mother, Pam Bechdolt, Perry, Florida, siblings, Tom (Dianna) Ousley, Logansport, Indiana, Kristi (Jason) Gochenour, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Sheri (Rob) Livingston, Camden, Indiana, David Bechdolt, Indiana and Aimee (Dan) Stephens, Sellersburg, Indiana, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ron Bechdolt.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Thursday October 19, 2023 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at Sycamore Memorial Park, Mentone, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, please send school supplies to help those students in need.
