Mary Ellen White

Mary Ellen White 99, Winamac, Indiana, and formerly of Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 1:00 P.M. Monday July 6, 2020 at Hickory Creek of Winamac where she resided for the past six years.

She was born on June 25, 1921 in Peru, Indiana, the daughter of Alfred and Hilda (Radamaker) Fries.  In 1959, she married Edward A. White. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2010. She graduated from Peru High School and attended Indiana University.

Survivors include her daughter, Ann (John) Gray, LaPorte, Indiana, son, Ed (Adrienne) White, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday July 9, 2020, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru, Indiana. Arrangements by Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanbrosfh.com
