Obituary
Mary M. Hott 94, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 9:15 P.M. Monday, July 10, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne.
Mary was born on September 9, 1928, in Porter County, Indiana, the daughter of Lester Clarence and Mary Elizabeth (Schultz) Sensilbaugh. On November 15, 1947 in Leiters Ford, Indiana, she married John V. Hott. He preceded her in death on February 19, 2010.
Mary worked as a seamstress at Hart, Schaffner and Marx for many years as well as working on the family dairy farm. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church, Rochester, Indiana. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking for her family and all the farm staff over the years.
Survivors include her sons, John “Jack” Hott, Rochester, Indiana, Joe (Gwen) Hott, Kewanna, Indiana, daughter, Diane (David) Sheetz, Akron, Indiana, twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, sisters, Wanda Fox, Rochester, Indiana, Doris Kissner, Knox, Indiana, Phyllis Barnes, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melody Sue Hott, sons, Michael Hott and James V. Hott, sisters, Thelma Nelson, Leona Starkey, Frances Marks, brothers, Gene Sensilbaugh, Donald Sensilbaugh.
Private interment will take place in the Moon Cemetery, Kewanna, Indiana. Arrangements by Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanbrosfh.com
