Mary L. Brandenburg

Mary L. Brandenburg 87, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 8:00 A.M. Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Life Care Center of Rochester.

On December 9, 1934, Mary Louise was born to Milford English and Reba (Stockton) English. She grew up in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

On September 16, 1951 in Crawfordsville, Indiana, she married the love of her life the late Forrest Dean Brandenburg. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2002. Together, they created a brood of children, six to be exact. She loved and cherished her children and eventually her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was an avid Bible reader and attended First Christian Church, Rochester, for many years. Later on, she then attended Faith Outreach Center. She often enjoyed doing Bible study with her family members. She loved to travel with Forrest across the country. After retirement, they would flock to Fort Myers, Florida and spend their winters basking in the sun.

Survivors include her children, David (Sherri) Brandenburg, Peru, Indiana, Cheryl Sue (Ted) Middleton, Ocala, Florida, Linda (Rick) Stutzman, Douglasville, Georgia, Howard (Dorothy) Brandenburg, Rochester, Indiana, Keith (Pam) Brandenburg, Rochester, Indiana, twenty five grandchildren, forty three great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Becky Brandenburg, grandchildren, Kristi and Renee Stutzman and two sisters and two brothers.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 17, 2022 at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Monday at Zimmerman Bros.
