Marjorie May Bounsall 84, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 10:16 P.M. Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at her son’s residence in Sylvan Lake, Michigan.

She was born on May 15, 1937 in Mishawaka, Indiana, the daughter of Harry and Dorothy (Wilson) Miller. On June 6, 1959 in Mishawaka, Indiana, she married Richard Allen Bounsall. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2018.

Marge graduated from Indiana University School of Nursing in 1958. She had worked at various Hospitals and Doctor’s office in Indianapolis, Wabash, Indiana, Columbus, Indiana, Ligonier, Indiana, Vincennes, Indiana and Mattoon, Illinois before moving to Rochester, Indiana in 1987. Upon arrival in Rochester, she started working at Argos Medical Clinic in Argos, Indiana. She and her husband operated Bounsall’s Shoe Store in Rochester until her retirement in 1999.

Marge had been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Fulton County Choral Melody Makers, Delta Theta Tau Sorority and the Rochester Lions Club. Along with her husband, she enjoyed traveling, being season tickets holders to Notre Dame Girls Basketball games, attending theater productions, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.

Survivors include her sons, Phillip and wife Judi Bounsall, Carmel, Indiana, Jeffrey Bounsall and partner Larry Jack, Sylvan Lake, Michigan, grandchildren, Lauren Bounsall, Cincinnati, Ohio and Michael Bounsall, Carmel, Indiana, sister-in-law, Lueva Francis, Carmel, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from Noon to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanbrosfh.com
