M. Jean Koch

M. Jean Koch 96, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 9:27 A.M. Monday, August 12, 2024 at Pilgrim Manor, Plymouth, Indiana.

Jean was born on April 11, 1928 in Kokomo, Indiana the daughter of Admiral Dewey and Pauline Marie (Dale) Biggs. In March of 1947, she married Clifford Koch and they had three children.

Jean had worked in customer service for the Cable Company for fifteen years and had also worked at Rochester Canning Factory early in life. She was a member of the First Christian Church and Kappa Delta Phi Sorority. She enjoyed bowling in her younger days, playing euchre, fill in puzzles, watching sports especially, basketball, and cheering on Notre Dame Football and the Green Bay Packers.

Survivors include her children, Cheri Hogan, Noblesville, Indiana, Dennis (Charlene) Koch, Fort Myers, Florida, Joe Koch, Rochester, Indiana, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dale Biggs, William Biggs, Richard Biggs, Robert Biggs, Betty Biggs, Julia Biggs and Dolores Iholts.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 16, 2024 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery Rochester, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clifford Koch Community Fund or to First Christian Church.
