Larry W. Reitz 83, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 4:36 P.M. Friday July 8, 2022, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, Indiana.

He was born on March 19, 1939 in Montandon, Pennsylvania, the son of Herbert E. Reitz Sr. and Kathleen (Weller) Reitz. Larry graduated from Montandon High School in 1957. On May 10, 1965 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, he married Sarah L. Broscious and she survives.

Larry was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1958-1962. He was employed with Moore Business Forms in 1964 in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania for eleven years as a printing press operator. He was a member of a start-up management team to open the new plant in Rochester in August 1973. He was manufacturing manager the next twenty five years until R.R. Donnelley bought out the Moore Corporation and closed several Moore plants including Rochester operation in April 1999.

Larry enjoyed playing in a fast pitch softball league for several years and also enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah L. Reitz, Rochester, Indiana, three daughters, Deborah A. Reitz, Bloomington, Indiana, Suzanne L. (Mike) Ganly, Greenwood, Indiana, Karen A. (Jeff) Stratton, Carlsbad, California, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Edward, Herbert Jr., Ned, Richard and Donald, and sister, Dorothy Reitz.
