Karen Theresa Tostevin

Karen T. Tostevin 79, Rochester, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 8:06 A.M., Monday, September 9, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Indiana.

She was born on June 2, 1945 in the Village of West Haverstraw, New York, the daughter of William and Ann (Shanahan) Kenney. On August 11, 1963, in Haverstraw, New York, she married Richard M. Tostevin Sr. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2010.

Karen worked as a machine operator in Danielson, Connecticut and at Wal-Mart in Rochester, Indiana. She enjoyed crocheting.

A special thank you to all the surgeons, nurses, and staff, both in the I.C.U. and general care unit at Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her sons, Richard “Rick” (Pam) Tostevin Sr., Rochester, Indiana, John (Allison) Tostevin, Lenoir, North Carolina, eight loving grandchildren and eight loving great grandchildren, and her cat, Jett.

Preceding her in death were her parents and seven siblings.
