John Franklin Bright Jr. 63, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 9:34 A.M. Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Stillwater Hospice, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born on January 2, 1960 in Valparaiso, Indiana, the son of John Franklin Bright and Virginia Bright Aubel.

Mr. Bright had worked in the flooring business. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, the great outdoors, watching Deadliest Catch and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his son, Franklin Paul (Ashlie) Bright, Peru, Indiana, mother, Virginia Auble, Valparaiso, Indiana, step siblings, Jason Wirick, Valparaiso, Indiana, Patti Bruno, Valparaiso, Indiana, thirteen grandchildren, brother, Joe (Glenda) Bright, Plymouth, Indiana, sister, Jamie Bright, Valparaiso, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father and step-father, Louie Auble.
