Joel Patrick Hill 47, of Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 9:24 P.M. Friday, September 17, 2021 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, Indiana, after a long and brave battle with cancer.

He was born in Rochester, Indiana, the son of Dick G. and Betty Hill. He was married to Teraysa (Lowery) Hill and she survives.

Joel had been a truck driver for over 20 years and worked for 6 Logistics of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Survivors include his wife, Teraysa Hill, Rochester, Indiana, children, Austin Hill, John Lowery and Bradley Hill, all of Rochester, Indiana, mother, Betty Hill, father, Dick Hill, siblings, Laura Reid, Michelle Rinehart, Teresa Ritz, Corey Green, Carl Hill, Tina Doubet, Carole Bishop, and several nieces and nephews. Joel had to park his semi to fight for Life, Jesus Christ saved him; God carried him home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday September 23, 2021 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from Noon to 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joel Hill Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
