Jerry Wayne Beaird

Jerry Wayne Beaird 76, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 10:07 P.M. Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Indiana.

He was born on September 5, 1946 in Rochester, Indiana, the son of Chance Edward and Bertha Mae (McGee) Beaird. On November 21, 1964 in Rochester, Indiana, he married Janet Thomas and she survives.

Jerry retired from Rochester Metals and was a member of the Omega Church and Old Crossroad Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Beaird, Rochester, Indiana, children, James Eugene (Amy) Beaird, Niles, Michigan, Forrest Wayne (Mark Mow) Beaird, Logansport, Indiana, John Edward (Jennifer) Beaird, Rochester, Indiana, grandchildren, Wayne (Cassie) Beaird, Buchanan, Michigan, Cory Beaird, Colorado, Ashley Williams, Anderson, Indiana, Austin Weldy, Peru, Indiana, Breyanna Marie, Rochester, Indiana, great grandchildren, Mercedes Beaird, Deshawn Williams, Katana Williams, Corban Williams, Oreana Weldy, brother, Cyrus “Ed” Beaird, Rochester, Indiana, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, George Clark, Jack Clark, Earl “Junior” Clark, John Clark, John L. O’Connor Jr., John Sweet, Patricia Thomas and Barbara Jean Ashelman.
