Jeanette L. McKee

Jeanette McKee 78, Rochester, Indiana, and formerly of Akron, Indiana, passed away at 5:27 P.M. Tuesday September 28, 2021 at Life Care Center of Rochester.

She was born on January 14, 1943 in Fulton County, Indiana, the daughter of Clair and Margaret (Heighway) Jones. She married Dr. John McKee in 1989 and he survives.

Jeannette had been office Manager for Manitou Veterinary Clinic and a homemaker. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and visiting with family.  She also enjoyed gardening and tending to her many flowers.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. John McKee, North Manchester, Indiana, sons, Michael “Mike” (Sherry) Shoemaker, Albion, Indiana, Bob (Nikki) Shoemaker, Rochester, Indiana, Jim (Shu-Yi Tsou) Shoemaker, Dublin, California, grandchildren, Emma Shoemaker, Indianapolis, Indiana, Luke (Alyssa) Shoemaker, Georgetown, Indiana, Parker Shoemaker and Jordan Shoemaker, Rochester, Indiana, brother, Ron (Pat) Jones, Silver Lake, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Patty Shoemaker.
