Janan K. Rogers

Janan K. Rogers 70, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 4:31 P.M. Friday November 22, 2019 at her residence.

She was born on October 15, 1949, in Plymouth, Indiana, the daughter of Bernard R. and Rachel A. (Eash) Warner. On October 27, 1973 in Argos, Indiana, she married Dr. Laurence Rogers. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2013.

Mrs. Rogers was a registered nurse having received her nursing degrees through Ancilla College and Bethel College. She had worked at various medical facilities, including Woodlawn Hospital and Hickory Creek, both of Rochester. She had attended The Cross Church, where she had been active in the Women’s Ministries and Mathews Market. In her leisure time, she enjoyed reading, knitting and collecting books.

Survivors include her children, Corey Rogers, Rochester, Indiana, Rachel (Matt) Woods, Leiters Ford, Indiana, Sgt. First Class Seth (Samantha) Rogers, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, grandchildren, Kaitlin and Austin Rogers (their mother Rachel Phillips Copeland) both of Rochester, Indiana, Carson Rogers (his mother Sarah Hoffman Rogers) La Porte, Indiana, Sophia Rogers, Amelia Rogers and Jack Rogers, all of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, sister, Laurie (Robert) Baker, Erma, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law, April Jones Rogers.
