Harold J. Kleckner Jr. 68, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 1:02 P.M., Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at his home.

Harold was born on February 20, 1955, in Gary, Indiana, the son of Harold and Barbara (Broshears) Kleckner Sr.

 He worked as a journeyman carpenter for Union Carpenters Local #1005 of Merrillville, Indiana and had worked for Emil Perrotta Construction in Gary, Indiana. Harold had been President of Fulton County ABATE and founded the Broke Ass Biker Bash. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing in his pond, cooking, going to fish fries, football and enjoyed playing his guitar having belonged to numerous bands.

Survivors include, sons Michael (Cindy) Kleckner, Valparaiso, Indiana, Kurtis Kleckner, Valparaiso, Indiana, Steven Kleckner, Valparaiso, Indiana, grandchildren, Alex Kleckner, Jasmine Kleckner, Alicia Kleckner, Brooke Kleckner, Katelyn Kleckner, Nicholas Kleckner, Van Kleckner, and Zoe Kleckner, brother, Terry Kleckner, Kouts, Indiana and sister, Kathie Cruikshank, Valparaiso, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents.

 A time to celebrate Harold's life and visit with his family will take place after 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at his residence, 7535 East 600 North, Rochester, Indiana .
