Harold H. Dittman

Harold H. Dittman 92, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 7:22 P.M. Monday June 7, 2021, at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, Indiana.

He was born on November 29, 1928 in White County, Indiana, the son of Clarence H. and Iva M. (Clerget) Dittman. He graduated from Fulton High School in 1946. On February 22, 1964 in LaPaz, Indiana, he married Mary Lou Beard and she survives.

Mr. Dittman had retired as Manager from North Central CO-OP. He had been a member of the Community Presbyterian Church, Past-President of the Fulton Town Board and Lions Club, long time member of the Eagles Lodge and enjoyed driving the bus for Manitou Training Center. In his leisure time, he enjoyed drives in the countryside admiring the crops and land, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Dittman, Rochester, Indiana, children, Dianna Holland, South Bend, Indiana, Donna Fincher, Rochester, Indiana, Angie (Steve) Ritchey, Warsaw, Indiana, Lisa (Brad) Thomas, Rochester, Indiana, David (Jan) Dittman, Portageville, Missouri, Rick (Dawn) Dittman, Rochester, Indiana, fourteen grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Robert Dean Dittman, brother, Richard D. Dittman, sons-in-laws, Dwight Holland and David Fincher.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Monday, June 14, 2021 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. Sunday and one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at Sycamore Memorial Park, Mentone, Indiana.
