Gerald L. Roberts

Gerald L. Roberts 76, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 7:15 A.M. Tuesday August 21, 2018 at Hickory Creek of Rochester.

He was born on August 26, 1941 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of Max and Lucy (Emerick) Roberts. On December 29, 1989 in Valparaiso, Indiana he married Judy Dennison and she survives.

Mr. Roberts had been a truck driver. He worked for Seneca Petroleum of Valparaiso, Indiana for over thirty years and transported liquid gas for Cryogenic of La Porte, Indiana until his retirement.

He had been a member of the American Legion Post #502 and enjoyed collecting, die-cast semi’s, cars, and trucks, beer steins, baseball caps, stamps, legos and model trains.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Roberts, Rochester, Indiana, children, Rick (Monika Manuszak) Roberts, Rochester, Indiana, Crystal Sons, Peru, Indiana, Kelly Roberts, Massachusetts, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister, Nancy Campbell, Koontz Lake, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Don Saulsgiver.

A time to celebrate Gerald’s life will take place at 2:00 P.M. Saturday August 25, 2018 at his residence, 1310 E. 4th Street Rochester, Indiana.
