George L. Dickson Sr.

George L. Dickson Sr., 69, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 7:20 P.M. on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at his residence.

He was born on November 18, 1954, in Knox, Indiana, the son of Joseph and Mary Alice (Ketcham) Dickson.

George was a United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He had been an employee of the former Parkview Hospital in Plymouth, Indiana and had also worked for Hoosier Tire.

Survivors include his son, George Leon (Fiancé’ Samantha Eby) Dickson Jr., Plymouth, Indiana, grandchildren, Taylor Dickson, Plymouth, Indiana, Brodie Dickson, Plymouth, Indiana, Hazel Dickson, Michigan, Braddoc Neace, Michigan, sisters, Linda Craig, Rochester, Indiana, Peggy Earnest, Ober, Indiana, Katrina Sumpter, Rochester, Indiana, Tammy Nuss, Rensselaer, Indiana, brothers, Roger Dickson, Elkhart, Indiana, Ricky Sumpter, Bremen, Indiana, Joseph Dickson Jr. , Clarksville, Tennessee, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nicole Dickson, brothers Edward Dickson, Donald Dickson, Dennis Humes, and sister, Jerry Humes.
