Gary E. Garver

Gary E. Garver 72, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 5:24 P.M. Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Memorial Hospital of South Bend, Indiana.

He was born on September 7, 1953 in Logansport, Indiana, the son of Garold Jay and Donna Marie (Knarr) Garver. On December 11, 2015 in Rochester, Indiana, he married Susan N. (Fogle) Jones and she survives.

Gary had owned and operated Garver Motors in Rochester for over forty- eight years. He was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and tending to his vegetable garden.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Garver, Rochester, Indiana, daughter, Nela Garver, Orlando, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jay Garver.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Citizens Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Animal Adoption and Education Center.
