Evelyn M. Pendley

Evelyn M. Pendley 80, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 6:02 P.M. on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Kokomo, Indiana.

She was born on May 16, 1945 in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of Harry and Edna (Bowman) Messler. On March 22, 1962 in Marion, Indiana, she married Meredith “Mickey” R. Pendley. He preceded her in death on January 18, 2018.

Evelyn was a homemaker and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church, Rochester, Indiana. She enjoyed sewing.

Survivors include, sons, Tony (Diane) Pendley, Louisiana, Mark (Margaret) Pendley, Rochester, Indiana, Keith (Jessica) Pendley, Bloomington, Indiana, daughter, Angela Pendley, Rochester, Indiana, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother, Harry (Sherry) Messler Jr., Marion, Indiana, several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, Earl Davis, Dick Messler, Jack Davis, sisters, Connie Hatten, Grace Hanna and Louise Wilson.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Liberty Baptist Church, Rochester, Indiana. Arrangements with Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Online condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanbrosfh.com
