Ervin J. Edson Jr.

Ervin J. Edson Jr. 71, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 5:13 A.M. December 24, 2025 at Life Care Center of Rochester.

He was born on December 11, 1954 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Ervin J. and Mary Elizabeth (Miller) Edson Sr. In 1978, he married Judith Garn and they had three children, Anthony, Casey and Issaih. They later divorced. On August 15, 1987 in South Bend, Indiana, he married Margaret Jo Ann Green and she preceded him in death on April 12, 2017.

Ervin had worked various jobs throughout his career including, security guard, transporting recreational vehicles, and working at various pizza restaurants. He enjoyed arts, crafts and movies.

Survivors include his daughter, Casey Sue Marie Hayes, Odgen, Utah, five grandchildren, brothers, Dr. Allan Edson, Utah, Dr. Wayne Edson, Chicago, Illinois, Peter Edson, Niles, Michigan, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Anthony Ervin Julius Edson and Issaih David Irvin Edson, and sister, Gail Evans.
