Doris M. Jefferies 57, Culver, Indiana, passed away at 4:01 P.M. Tuesday October 4, 2022, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Indiana.

She was born on May 20, 1965 in Elkhart, Indiana, the daughter of George Frame and Patricia (Shank) Pomeroy.

On April 27, 1985 in Culver, Indiana, she married David W. Jefferies. He preceded in death on February 20, 2022.

Doris had been a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Heartland, Starke County. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, David Jefferies Jr. (Christina Juckett), Culver, Indiana, Joseph Jefferies, Knox, Indiana, Jonathan Jefferies, Plymouth, Indiana, four grandchildren, Donavan, Braxton, Christian, and Draven, mother, Patricia Pomeroy, Rochester, Indiana, siblings, Sarah (Don) Ballinger, Rochester, Indiana, George Frame, Indiana, Ted (Brenda) Frame, Pembroke, Georgia, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, George Frame Sr.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday October 14, 2022, at the Church of the Heartland, 6020 S. 300 East, Knox, Indiana 46534. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Culver Masonic Cemetery, Culver, Indiana. Arrangements by Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana.
