Danny Grogg

Danny Grogg 81, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 8:00 A.M. Friday, July 10, 2026 at his residence.

He was born on May 3, 1945 in Auburn, Indiana the son of Albert Gene and Mary Elizabeth (Kessler) Grogg. On January 21, 1999 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, he married Janie L. (Kitterman) Courtney. She preceded in death on June 18, 2021.

Danny had owned and operated Grogg Sales and had been a Esco Parts Distributor. He had been a member of the Elk’s Lodge, NRA, and Eagles’ Lodge. He enjoyed golf, shooting, and caring for his yard.

Survivors include his daughter, Brandi (David) Bussard, Rochester, Indiana, step-children, Tony (Tracy) Courtney, Wabash, Indiana, Marcus Courtney, Plymouth, Indiana, Melissa Courtney, Frankfort, Kentucky, grandchildren, Bailey, Brady, John, Matthew, Hadley, and McKenna. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gene Grogg and sister, Shirley Stice.
