Carolyn S. Robowski

Carolyn Sue Robowski 65, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 12:40 P.M. Monday, October 9, 2023, at her residence.

She was born on January 15, 1958, in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of Francis and Louise (Stigall) Stevens. On July 20, 1974, in Kingsford Heights, Indiana, she married Everett Rondell Robowski and he survives.

Carolyn worked for over thirty -three years in construction. She also owned and operated the Barn Café in Plymouth, Indiana and at the Rochester Sale Barn in Rochester. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially taking great pride in her homemade pies. She also enjoyed her flowers, working puzzles and word searches. She is remembered as someone who never met a stranger, also loving to strike up a conversation.

Survivors include her husband, Ron Robowski, Rochester, Indiana, daughters, Rochelle (Mike) Sanderson, Rochester, Indiana, Jenny Robowski, Rochester, Indiana, grandchildren, Dakota (Russell) Temme, Rochester, Indiana, Logan Linsner, Rochester, Indiana, seven great grandchildren, siblings, Dennis (Madge) Stevens, Plymouth, Indiana, Rebecca Stevens, Plymouth, Indiana, Ray “Bo” Walsh, Kewanna, Indiana, Kay Lugabihl, Kewanna, Indiana, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Ronald Everett Stricklin, and sister, Anna Jane Jones.
