Carole Ann Zinser 75, Grand Rapids Township, Michigan, passed away at 1:12 A.M. Sunday, March 20, 2022, at the Village of Heather Hills, Grand Rapids Township, Michigan.

She was born on July 20, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Clement and Gertrude (Thiefels) McKevitz. On May 29, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan, she married Donald Zinser and he survives.

Carole had worked many years in accounting for the automotive industry in Detroit. She enjoyed knitting, golf, treasure hunts and collecting quilts.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Zinser, Grand Rapids Township, Michigan, daughters, Carrie Zinser, Byron Center, Michigan, Cathy (Brendon) Thomas, Chicago, Illinois, grandson, Oliver Thomas, Chicago, Illinois, sister, Nancy (Dennis) Laughlin, brother, Peter (Lori) McKevitz, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gerald McKevitz.

A time to visit with the family and celebrate Carole’s life will take place on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the Sierrafield Community Room, 7597 Sierrafield Dr., SW, Byron Center, Michigan, 49315, from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. An informal remembrance service will take place at 12:30 P.M.
