Carol A. Wilburn 85, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 11:53 P.M., Monday, April 7, 2025 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, Indiana.
She was born on September 15, 1939 in Fulton County, Indiana, the daughter of Verl and Annona (Zartman) Packard. On October 26, 1957 in Peru, Indiana, she married Henry Delmont Wilburn. He preceded her in death on August 2, 1991.
Carol had worked for Federal Mogul, Leiters Ford, Indiana and for Resistance in Argos, Indiana. She enjoyed word circle puzzles, puzzles, word books, and dancing. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdon Hall.
Survivors include her son, Rick (Janet) Wilburn, Granger, Indiana, daughter, Anita (Dale) Murphy, Rochester, Indiana, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and sister, Dorris Clingaman, Kokomo, Indiana. Preceding her in death were her parents, sister, Sue Stambaugh, brothers, Jim Packard, Garrie Packard and Verl D. Packard.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday April 11, 2025, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Athens, Indiana. Arrangements by Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home of Rochester, Indiana. On line condolences may be expressed at www.zimmermanbrosfh.com
