Arlene Mae Grass

Arlene M. Grass 93, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 2:43 A.M. Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Wynnfield Crossing.

She was born on January 22, 1929 in Elkhart, Indiana, the daughter of Oliver and Della (DeNoyer) McClintic. On November 21, 1947 in Elkhart, Indiana, she married Wendell Grass and he survives.

Arlene had been the owner and operator of a home improvement business,  Talma Paneling for fifteen years and provided cleaning service to Burton Mechanical for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, her cats and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Wendell Grass, Rochester, Indiana, children, Rick (Cheryl) Grass, Palestine, Indiana, Dodi (Larry) Ruff, Warsaw, Indiana, Tina (Ron) Sayger, Rochester, Indiana, Becky (Larry) Carlson, Warsaw, Indiana, ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Mary McClintic, Elkhart, Indiana, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ashley Carlson, sisters, Berdine McClintic, Irene  Chaffee, Helen Rice, and brother, Maynard L. “Red” McClintic.

Private Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rochester, Indiana. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana.
