Amanda Gall Obituary

Amanda “Amie” Leigh Gall 42, Rochester, Indiana, joined loved ones and entered the arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at her residence.

She was born in Magnolia, Arkansas on September 13, 1979, the cherished daughter of parents, Richard E. Gall and Sharon K. (Shipp) Gall. Amie attended Akron, Indiana and Tippecanoe Valley Schools. She was born again in 1990, at age eleven at the Akron Church of God. She and her family lived in Arkansas and Texas until they relocated to Akron, Indiana in June of 1989.

After high school she was employed at Pizza Hut in Rochester and later Superior Sample, Rochester. Because of her loving and caring nature she worked in Home Health Care for a number of years. Helping those in need was her true calling.

She loved Lord, children, family and good friends without abandon. Being a lover of nature, she enjoyed all outdoor activities, camping and her “claim to fame” fishing, exploring and hiking, gardening and enjoyed the playful sounds of her children, her world. She was an excellent cook and was famous for her homemade potato soup, to die for meat loaf and southern style spaghetti. Her love of family was holidays and cook outs. Being artistic she loved to sketch, draw and color. She was a fanatic about a clean house and everything domestic. Ami loved music of all genres and dancing. She was a sweet soul with a heart for all people and animals. Her loving family was her joy. A family who will dearly miss her warm infectious smile and laughter, her loving and tender ways until they embrace in their Heavenly, eternal home.

She left behind a host of family and friends with memories of precious times, much love, and their faith of holding her again. This multitude of family include, her father, Richard E. Gall, South Whitley, Indiana, mother and devoted step-dad, Sharon K. andTroy Mikesell, Athens, Indiana, four beautiful children, Gage Orion (Anna DuBois) Bower and granddaughter, Paislee JoAnn Bower, all of Winamac, Indiana, Gavin Michael Allen Shambarger, Rochester, Indiana, Greyson Krystopher Gall, Athens, Indiana, Gemma JoLeigh Denton, Rochester, Indiana, sisters, Leslie Renee’ Ranstead, South Bend, Indiana, Heather Layne (Ashley Bashop) Mikesell, South Whitley, Indiana, special uncle, Terry Michael (Sarah) Johnson and their children, Ina Haley and Della Mae, all of Swannanoa, North Carolina, her paternal grandparents, Harold and Martha “Marty” Gall, South Whitley, Indiana, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
