Robert A. Bradway 83, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 8:35 P.M. Monday September 2, 2013 at his residence.

He was born on June 10, 1930, in Fulton County, Indiana, the son of Chester and Mary (Clevenger) Bradway. On December 1, 1980 in Rochester, Indiana he married Carol (Townsend) Castleman and she survives.

Mr. Bradway was owner/operator of Bradway Rentals. He had been an acoustic installation installer for West Coast Installation in Fort Myers, Florida. He had attended the First Baptist Church and the Riverview Community Church, both of Rochester, Indiana. He had also participated with the Fulton County Players and had played semi-pro basketball in North Manchester, Indiana. In his spare time he enjoyed woodcrafts, being in nature, feeding the birds and attending all of his grandchildren’s sporting events. He enjoyed working at church camp preparing meals and is fondly remembered by his family as a great storyteller.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Bradway, Rochester, Indiana, children, Barbara Bradway, Rochester, Indiana, Cathy Bradway, Raleigh, North Carolina, Mary Ann Johnson, Fort Myers, Florida, Janice and husband Austin Tomlinson, Fort Myers, Florida, Mikel Bradway, Charlotte, North Carolina, Dennis Dale Castleman, Fremont, California, Debra and husband David Tuttle, Rochester, Indiana, fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, brother, Dale and wife Gloria Bradway, Warsaw, Indiana, sister, Pauline Yeakley, South Bend, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sons, Robert Bradway,  David Castleman, and Donnie Castleman, daughter, Diane Herlovich, grandson, Justin Herlovich, great granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Abbott, brothers, David Bradway, Ray Bradway, Willis Bradway, Richard Bradway, sister, Trella Coplen.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Saturday September 7, 2013 at Riverview Community Church, Rochester, Indiana, with the Rev. Rod Ruberg officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. till Noon Saturday at the Church. Burial will be at Athens Cemetery, Athens, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Riverview Community Church.
