Richard E. Lindgren 64, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 7:14 A.M. Thursday September 28, 2017 at Life Care Center of Rochester.

He was born on January 3, 1953 in Crown Point, Indiana, the son of Edgar and Dorothy (Emigh) Lindgren.

Richard served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He had been a manager for Denny’s Restaurants helping open numerous restaurants around the Midwest. In his spare time he enjoyed painting and decorating.

Survivors include his aunt, Ocelia Bailey Conklin, Rochester, Indiana, niece and nephews, Tammy and husband Craig Spurlock, Rochester, Indiana, Todd Bradley, Rochester, Indiana, Timmy Bradley, Rochester, Indiana, Lorie and husband Jim Cunningham, Cedar Lake, Indiana, Vickie and husband Carey Randolph, Florida, Shelly and husband Todd Hoffman, Akron, Indiana, close friends, Justin Boschee, Rochester, Indiana, Jennifer Swafford, Rochester, Indiana, Brandon Sheehy, Rochester, Indiana, best friend, Shayla Singleton, Rochester, Indiana, twenty one great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.

Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday October 4, 2017 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from 5-7 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
