Prudence A. Hott

Prudence A. Hott 68, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 11:00 A.M. Saturday October 27, 2018 at Courtyard Health Care, Goshen, Indiana.

She was born on May 6, 1950 in Plymouth, Indiana, the daughter of C.R. “Jack” and Frances (Wood) Mummert. On March 20, 1973 in Laketon, Indiana, she married John “Jack” Hott and he survives.

Prudence had been a substitute school teacher at various schools for many years as well as a homemaker. She had been a member of St. John Lutheran Church and Psi Iota Xi Sorority. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her horses and dogs.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Hott, Rochester, Indiana, sons, Mark Hott, Rochester, Indiana, Bart Hott, Bluffton, Indiana, several grandchildren, sister, Chloe Ann and husband Frank Choate, Rochester, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents.
