Joyce E (Mikesell) Morehouse, age 78, Clare, Michigan, formerly of Macy, Indiana, passed away at 12:24 A.M. Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Spectrum Health Hospitals Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Joyce was born on November 18, 1938 in West Branch, Michigan, the daughter of Louis and Isabell (Short) Adams.  She was married to Paul Mikesell in 1966 and he preceded her in death in 1979.

Joyce had been a homemaker.  She had been a member of Parents Without Partners, Perrysburg Baptist Church and had attended the Rochester Church of God.  She enjoyed dancing, cooking and housekeeping.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda (Robert) Abrams, Michigan, Latona (Steve) McIntyre, Indiana, Dawn (Donald) Felton, Michigan, JoEllen (Carlton) Cover, Indiana and son, Brian (Carolyn) Mikesell, Indiana, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sisters Betty Riddick Brown, Virginia, Pat (Michael) Sparks, Michigan, Alberta Schrage, Michigan and brother, Albert (Pat) Adams, Michigan.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
