James V. Hott 67, Kewanna, Indiana, passed away at 3:25 P.M. Sunday April 2, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on December 20, 1949 in Pulaski County, Indiana, the son of John V. and Mary Martha (Sensibaugh) Hott. On September 17, 1970 in Denham, Indiana, he married Rebecca “Becky” Field and she survives.

Mr. Hott had been a truck driver for many years retiring from Americo Trucking in Bremen, Indiana. He had been a member of the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association and retired from the Kewanna –Union Township Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and telling jokes with his friends.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Hott, Kewanna, Indiana, children, Nicole "Nikki" Hott Lowry and companion Chuck Felda, Kewanna, Indiana, Leslie and husband Aaron Henderson, Mannheim, Pennsylvania, James Paul Hott, Kewanna, Indiana, grandchildren, Amelia Lowry, Delaney Lowry, both of Kewanna, Indiana, Alex and wife Jade Henderson, Manheim, Pennsylvania, Calvin Henderson, Manheim, Pennsylvania, Victoria “Tori” Henderson, Manheim, Pennsylvania, mother, Mary Martha Hott, Rochester, Indiana, brothers, John “Jack” and wife wife Prudence Hott, Rochester, Indiana, Joseph and wife Gwen Hott, Kewanna, Indiana, sister, Dianne Sheets, Akron, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Melody Sue Hott and brother, Michael Hott.
