Rev. Donald “Don” Vincent Olmsted 91, Wynnfield Crossing, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 5:15 A.M. Monday April 10, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on October 1, 1925 in Charles City, Iowa, the son of Henry and Dorothy (Kelley) Olmsted. On August 28, 1947 in Willis, Kansas, he married Lora Lowe. She preceded him in death on September 9, 2008.

Rev. Olmsted had been a minister for the Wesleyan Church pastoring churches in Nebraska, Wisconsin and Indiana. He was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his son, Stephen and wife Susan Olmsted, Rochester, Indiana, five grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Bonnie Olmsted Peterson, Darby, Montana. He was preceded in death by his sons, David Olmsted on April 28, 1996 and Daryl Olmsted on August 28, 2001 and several brothers and sisters.
