Beverly Joy Nichols

Beverly Joy Nichols 76, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 11:04 A.M. Saturday January 26, 2019 at Hickory Creek of Rochester.

She was born on October 12, 1942 in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of Carl and Helen (Thomas) Nichols. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1961.

Beverly had worked at the former Chamberlains/WENS in Akron, Indiana and T.M. Morris in Fulton, Indiana. She had attended Macy Christian Church, volunteered with Hope Hospice and was a member of Faith Outreach Center. She loved to crochet, having made blankets for all her children, grandchildren and was working on blankets for all her great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Brenda (Roger) Vogel, Rochester, Indiana, Deb (Russ) Howell, Rochester, Indiana, Patricia (Don) Gossar, Vincennes, Indiana, Donald Eatmon, Rochester, Indiana, Robert Eatmon, Rochester, Indiana, Juli (Johnny) Irvin, Mount Airy, Georgia, grandchildren, Mandy Holden, Lafayette, Indiana, Cynthia Garringer, Lafayette, Indiana, James Shafer, Peru, Indiana, Penni Freels, Rochester, Indiana, Dustin Cook, Galatia, Illinois, Terrah Sparks, Vincennes, Indiana, Robert Eatmon Jr., Rochester, Indiana, Dylan Eatmon, Rochester, Indiana, Billy Moog, Vincennes, Indiana, eighteen great grandchildren, brother, John (Angie) Nichols, Rochester, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Clayton Martin, brothers, Thomas Nichols and William Nichols, sister, JoAnn Nichols and her parents.

A church service in memory of Beverly will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday January 30, 2019 at Faith Outreach Center, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the church. Burial will be at a later date at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana. Arrangements by Zimmerman Bros.
